    Event Description:
    Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary will be hosting Birds and Beer at Reel ‘Em Inn in Sarona on Thursday, July 11. Registration starts at 5:30 pm and the program starts at 6:00 pm. This month’s topic is black bears by Nancy Christel, DNR. 

    Birds and Beer is a monthly program that gives nature enthusiasts the opportunity to interact in a casual setting. Each Birds and Beer program features a different presenter at a different location. This month’s speaker is Nancy Christel, DNR wildlife biologist, who will discuss black bear. Bear are big and beautiful. They are arguably one of our most interesting wild mammals. They look cuddly, but are they? They can be a nuisance, but why? Enjoy some stories and explore what it is like to be a black bear in Wisconsin. Bring your sense of humor and be ready to laugh while you learn.  
    Fees/Admission:
    Registration is highly suggested because space is limited. To register, call 715-635-6543 or purchase tickets online at hunthill.org. Tickets are $10, if purchased in advance; $15 at the door.
