Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum Grand Opening

Saturday, May 29th, 2010, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Spooner WI: Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum Grand Opening, WCHM Exhibit Hall (312 Front St). The Wisconsin State Legislature has proclaimed May 29th Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Day and the WCHM will hold their grand opening from 10 am to 2 pm in Spooner on that day. Activities planned include a ribbon cutting ceremony from 11 am to 12 pm, live music before and after, several dignitary speakers, a keynote address from Jill Dean, and canoe shop exhibits. Food and beverages will also be available, along with canoe raffle tickets and museum merchandise.
