Theatre in the Woods to cast "Almighty Bob"
May 27th, 2010--Theatre in the Woods announces auditions for "Almighty Bob", a divine comedy by Tom Mula. Tryouts will be held Tuesday, June 8 and Thursday, June 10 at 7:30pm, at the Erika Quam Memorial Theater, 605 1st Street in Shell Lake.
Almighty Bob follows 84-year-old Bob through his first week at an assisted living center. Bob isn’t the average client, as the staff soon discovers. Sometimes he thinks he’s God. And, maybe, sometimes he’s right! The show requires men and women of various ages; one man age 18-35, two men age 35-55, one woman age 35-55, one woman age 70-90, and one-to-three smaller roles for women of any age.
The show will be performed November 11-14, with rehearsals starting in September based on cast availability.
