A memory care event and discussion. The Remember Project is to assist community members and leaders in new ways to think about memory loss and become aware of local resources that support families who are dealing with a diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimers Disease. This program builds awareness, shares information, and invites authentic community conversations. The theatrical performance, ‘In the Garden’, uses a scenario based on the experience of adult children spanning the U.S. and their efforts in decisions and accommodations for the family member with dementia. Hosted by the Aging and Disability Resource Center and Spooner Health System, 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 2. Free to the public. Reservations required due to limited seating. Reserve a seat by April 25.
